Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

Well, we have made it past Christmas and almost to the New Year! I sure hope 2012 isn't the end of the world...(re: Mayan calendar) because I am not caught up on my scrapbooking, projects and well, everything! I am so excited, BOTH my older kids are coming in for a week or so. Our son from Florida, our daughter from Maine! So, to all who read this...Happy New Year, may it be prosperous and filled with good health!

I'm not ancient as my teenager thinks, but I am new to the blog thing...I love art! I love scrapbooking, making cards and especially decorative personalized things for my family and friends. I have recently discovered the world of altered art! I didn't much like it at first, but  I have learned over the years to never say never! I am really loving it. I was asked to do a piece for some friends in Houston that own the Texas Art Asylum...low and behold I sold my first piece. I also sell miscellaneous things on ETSY & eBay! So, at 54, I am still learning. I came up with the name "Altered Miscellany" for my blog. It kind of encompasses all! Join me, maybe we will learn together.
