Rest In Peace Chuck Berry

My Tribute:

Nadine lives in Memphis Tennessee, she is listening to Rock & Roll Music at her Sweet 16 party. Tomorrow is a School Day and Little Queenie wants to skip. We’re Almost Grown she says to Nadine, I’ll bring that Brown Eyed Handsome Man you like, you know Johnny, Johnny B. Good! Nadine says…that’s not the one! It’s Rudy! Her momma Maybellene heard them and saw Rudolph and said boy you better Run Rudolph Run!  Rudy hollered at Johnny and said… Johnny B Goode and get My Din-A-Ling!   I can’t Let it Rock without it! They ran and jumped the Down Bound Train With No Particular Place to Go!

Had a fun weekend with my sis in law Billye  Marie! We spent Sunday playing! I simultaneously worked on a canvas, altering a jewelry box and some thick chipboard letters I got at Hobby Lobby! Love that place! I am making the canvas for someone who offered their beach house some time this summer. Can't wait!

Any Steam Punk fans out there?

If you are a lover of Steam Punk like I am, then stay tuned... I have a new blog: SteamPunqueJunque.blogspot.com.
Exciting things are coming!

Busy girl.....

Working girl... office work, scheduling appointments, etc. Next off to my sisters to help her pack for a move! I'm very excited, I sold my 1898 White House Cook Book through my ETSY Store. I love that book it was so unique and of course written for the modern women of 1898! It wasn't just a cook book. It had all sorts of ways to help you run your household. I will miss the book. Be sure to check out my ETSY Store for great vintage finds and handmade items. The shelves are a bit bare right now, but more very unique items coming soon! It's the same name as my blog. AlteredMiscellany!!!

Tim Holtz .... I love getting inky with Tim & Mario! Why? Inks, Alcohol inks, Stamps, Vintage buttons, Die Cuts, Tools (my fav & most utilized is the distress key chain tool) Grunge Board, Fab Papers!!!
Kaiser Craft ... Why? A wonderful company from down-under! VERY nice folks! I love their papers, Wood Flourishes, Bling, and their Beyond the Page wood products are awesome. I made a shadowbox using their shadowbox and the Hunt & Gather line.
